This kind of tester can be used to test the mechanical stability of natural rubber latex concentrate, also prevulcanized natural rubber latex concentrate.

The test method used in this tester is not necessarily suitable for lattices or prevulcanized latex preserved with potassium hydroxide, latices from natural source other than Hevea brasiliensis, or for compounded latex or artificial dispersions of rubber, and it is not applicable to synthetic rubber latices.
